MINNEAPOLIS, MN (January 16, 2025) – Colliers Minneapolis today announced the acquisition of Christianson & Company Commercial Real Estate Services (Christianson & Company), Minneapolis’ premier, woman owned brokerage firm. The firm is led by veteran broker and one of the most influential businesswomen in Minneapolis, Lisa Christianson, who will serve as a Senior Vice President.
In addition, Christianson & Company’s full-time brokerage professionals – Laura Gill, Marilyn Fritze, Amy Berg and Emily Massie, as well as operations/marketing director Debra Kubitschek – will also make the move to Colliers and operate under the Colliers brand effective immediately.
Said Jeremy Jacobs, Colliers’ market leader, Minneapolis-St. Paul, “Lisa has built a prosperous organization recognized for its enduring client partnerships and commitment to customer service. The addition of the entire Christianson & Company team marks an exciting time for us as we look to combine Lisa and her team’s leadership and expertise with our resources to deliver unparalleled value to our clients.”
Christianson founded her company in 2001, offering turnkey services to tenants, owners, and investors across office, retail, industrial, and multifamily property types throughout the United States. Over the years, she grew Christianson & Company into one of the premier firms in the city, recognized for its strategic guidance and unparalleled market knowledge. The firm became synonymous with success, maximizing the potential of its brokers and partners while remaining dedicated to its mission of making the world a better place.
In 2024, Christianson negotiated one of the largest sales in the market when she represented Goodwill Industries Inc. in its acquisition of the 100,000-square-foot Energy Park Corporate Center for its new corporate office and training center. Other notable clients include NParallel, Clear Choice Property Management and Elmcrest Properties.
Christianson is a member and past president of MNCAR and the MNCAR Exchange. She is active in the Minnesota Shopping Center Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). She was named Broker of the Year by the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) in 2019.
Christianson also hosts an engaging podcast called People and Places and How We Use Spaces. The engaging series looks into the unique relationship between individuals, communities and their environment and is a must-listen for those passionate about how spaces shape the future of work/live/play.
“While the business name will change, our dedication and service to our clients will not,” added Christianson. “We are excited to be able to offer more to our clients and believe Colliers’ expansive platform of global resources and services will not only help make us and our clients smarter, but also more successful.”
