Laura came to Christianson & Company in 2005, bringing with her experience in property management, leasing retail development projects, and working on her family properties where she is also an investor. Laura also has held extensive marketing positions, one that led her to the Business Banking industry.
Laura’s main focus is retail/office leasing and selling in the southeast market, however, she has listings and represents clients all over the Twin Cities. She has done many transactions involving restaurants such as Green Mill, Cupcake, Rita’s Italian Ice, Sarpinos Pizza, Jimmy Johns as well as many independent businesses. Other examples of transactions have been with American Title, State Farm, Stewart Title, Davita Dialysis, and other professional or medical uses.
Laura is a member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) where she served many years on the Caring Tree committee (school supplies for kids in need) and currently serves on the Legislative Committee representing commercial real estate industry issues and government. She is also a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Dakota Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Laura currently has been appointed to the ICSC Government Relations Chair where she oversees MN, ND & SD. She also serves on her local neighborhood HOA board and served on an HOA board for many years in Colorado where she owned property. Laura is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas where she studied Communications, Marketing, and Business. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family at the lake cabin in WI.
